Our Shipping Policy

Please note:

All shipping times listed below are times listed before transportation was affected by COVID 19.


Standard Shipping          (Average 2-10 Business Days)

Standard shipping orders are delivered using AusPost, StarTrack, Courier Please or TNT, dependent on size and weight. Your location will determine transit times.

Standard shipping charges are decided using weight and location*.
*Charge rates are subject to change and Music Workshop Pty. Ltd. reserves the right to use our own discretion in reference to the location variable when it influences these charges.

 

Express Shipping             (Average 1-5 Business Days)

Express Shipping orders are delivered using Express Post, StarTrack or TNT, dependent on size and weight. Express shipping will appear as a shipping option only when available to you and your current transaction. If it is not displaying this may mean you are located at a distance that is not within 1-5 business days of transit from our South Geelong location. Your location will determine transit times.

Minimum Shipping

Orders under $49 will attract a $10 shipping fee where either Standard shipping, Express shipping, or Click and Collect have not been specified. This $10 fee will provide you with a Standard shipping service that intitles you to tracking.

 

Free Shipping
Free shipping may be offered at the discretion of Music Workshop Pty. Ltd.

Small, inexpensive items that are offered with free shipping will be sent without tracking and insurances. If you need tracking for your order, please select Standard or Express (if applicable) as your shipping method. Orders sent without tracking are non-refundable.

 

Click and Collect

Orders placed online can be picked up contact free when Click and Collect is specified as your preferred shipping method. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed and be ready for collection. In the circumstance that your goods are not available instore at the time of purchase, a staff member will contact you to explain expected wait times. You will receive a notification via either email or SMS when your goods are ready to be collected. Upon collection you may be asked to show valid identification.

 

Parcel Tracking

Your Tracking Number (if applicable) can be found within your shipment confirmation email.
Small, inexpensive items that are offered with free shipping will be sent without tracking and insurances. Orders sent without tracking are non-refundable. If you require tracking for your order, please select Standard or Express (if applicable) as your shipping method.

 

Dispatching and Shipping Addresses

Most orders will be dispatched from our main place of business in South Geelong, Victoria, using Australia Post, Courier Please and TNT. You will receive tracking (if applicable) and shipment confirmation to the email used during the checkout process. Orders are typically delivered with business hours only, Monday – Friday (excl. Public Holidays). Some orders may be dispatched directly from suppliers in order to shorten delivery times; you will be promptly notified if this method of dispatch applies to your order. Please allow up to two (2) days for dispatching of goods.

We ask for a valid shipping address, email address and your best contact phone number at the checkout. It is the customers responsibility to supply us with the correct shipping address* and contact details. Due to goods only being delivered during business hours (Monday to Friday), and most often, needing a signature to be released, we suggest that if you are not going to be home, please confirm a work address or similar for shipping. If a courier is unable to deliver goods due to no one being in attendance, you may be charged a re-delivering fee. Large and Heavy items, such as Pianos, Acoustic Drums and Powered Speaker Systems may require further address information to be given, such as easy lift or ramp access points, to ensure successful delivery.

*Music Workshop Pty. Ltd. will not be held accountable for missing goods when the shipping address is found to be incorrect, misspelled or inaccurately referenced.

 

Items damaged in transit.

DO NOT sign for any package/delivery that you suspect may be damaged. Signing for an item means that is has been received in good order and any damage discover is no longer the courier’s responsibility. If your goods appear to be damaged, you must call (03 5221 5844) or email (info@musicworkshop.com.au) to notify us within 24 Hours. To insure we can help you to the best of our ability, please insure to include your name, address, ordered items and a brief description of apparent damage during these communications. All items will be assessed by Music Workshop Pty. Ltd. on a case-by-case basis.

Request for additional identification.
In some circumstances we may ask you to provide additional identification to confirm credit card information. You will be notified by telephone or email if this confirmation is required. We appreciate your understanding as we try to minimize fraudulent transactions.
