The Fender Player II FSR Jazz Bass RW British Racing Green is a limited-run electric bass designed for players who want a fast, comfortable feel with a clear, flexible tone that sits easily in a mix. The slim nut width and offset body shape make it feel quick and easy in the hands, whether you’re playing long rehearsals, recording sessions, or live sets.

The alder body delivers a balanced response with tight lows, present mids, and a clean top end that doesn’t overpower the mix. The Modern “C” maple neck with satin finish feels smooth and fast, while the 9.5" radius slab rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges gives a slightly broken-in feel that makes it comfortable over longer playing sessions.

The Player Series Alnico V single-coil pickups give you that classic Jazz Bass-style flexibility. Running both pickups together produces a tight, scooped sound that works well for slap or clean styles, while favouring the bridge pickup brings out a more focused, mid-forward tone that cuts through in busier arrangements. Compared to split-coil designs like on the P-Bass, this setup offers more tonal range and control, especially when blending the two volume controls.

The 4-saddle bridge and open-gear tuners keep tuning stable and adjustments straightforward, whether you’re setting up for the studio or heading out to a gig. The British Racing Green finish gives this FSR model a more distinctive look while keeping the core feel unchanged.
